A full day of Arts Workshops and information on arts events in Dorset this September.
To celebrate the Launch of Dorset Loves Arts Month, a taster day is taking place to show you just how creative and fun Dorset is. See the Giant Dinosaur Sculpture, listen to some live music and try your hand at some belly dancing. With activities and information for all ages it’s a chance to experience all the different arts on your doorstep. Watch some short films and pick up loads of information about the up and coming festivals and events being held in Dorset this September. Ever wondered if you could be a town crier, well come along in the afternoon and give it a try. Bring some scrap metal with you and see it become part of a new sculpture, bake a cake at home, decorate it in the style of great art and enter it into our cake competition.
